Prayer of Sabbath
Jesus, you are the King of Peace
You are the Lord over the Sabbath.
I thank you that you created the Sabbath
as a path to peace
it’s an act of trust.
I repent of all the times I have ignored your instruction
to rest my body and mind.
Teach me to set down the things in my life
that would keep me from rest.
Help me to trust you with those things.
Help me obey your command to rest
Help me to extend rest to those around me,
Help me to live in alignment to your word
